Job description

This is a 100% remote role for candidates based in the Washington D.C. Metro Area (D.C., Maryland, Virginia). Candidates can be located within a 2-hour commute from Alexandria, Virginia.

Viderity is seeking a Senior Business Process re-Engineering Specialist who will provide facilitation, training, methodology development and evaluation, process re-engineering across all phases, as well as identifying best practices, change management, business management techniques, organizational development, activity and data modeling, or information system development methods and practices, and supervision of business process reengineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain complex software applications and systems.

  • Applies process improvement and reengineering methodologies and principles to conduct process modernization projects.

  • Facilitating requirement gathering meetings to identify impacted business processes and document the project business requirements.

  • Responsible for understanding project scope and actively monitoring requirements process to maintain adherence to the objectives set for the project.

  • Activity and data modeling, developing modern business methods, identifying best practices, and creating and assessing performance measurements.

  • Creates process change by integrating new processes with existing ones and communicating these changes to impacted Business Systems teams.

  • Works directly with project team including user interface/user experience (UI/UX) solution architects, database administrators, developers, QA testers, and others to ensure understanding of the requirements, functionality, size, and scalability of the IT solution.

  • Recommends and facilitates quality improvement efforts.

Job requirements

Required Skills:

  • Design, develop, and maintain complex software applications and systems.

  • Seven (7) years’ experience in business process reengineering with demonstrated, increasing responsibilities within this field.

  • Undergraduate degree required in business administration, information systems, computer science, engineering, or related discipline

  • Experience with EDI/XML electronic data exchange experience and specific logistics function (e.g., finance, supply, contract administration, transportation and operations research)

  • DLA/Component policies, business procedures, business rules, data standards and transaction standards (both DLMS and legacy formats) in support of Military Standard Requisitioning and Issue Procedures (MILSTRIP)

  • Military Standard Transaction Reporting and Accountability Procedures (MILSTRAP), Military Standard Billing System (MILSBILLS)

  • Supply Discrepancy Reporting (SDR) and Web SDR, DoD Activity Address Directory (DoDAAD)/ Military Assistance Program Address Directory (MAPAD)

  • Logistics Metrics Analysis Reporting System (LMARS)

  • Physical Inventory, federal cataloging data standards, materiel technical data standards, and transaction standards in support of seamless integration with the supply/logistics domain

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to create frequent business presentations.

  • Strong persuasive ability is required.

    Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with business and technical personnel at all levels.

Security Clearance Required:

o Access Level: IT-2

o Sensitivity Level: Secret/Non-critical Sensitive

o Type of Investigation: Current Tier 3 (T3) or National Agency Check with

   Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC) at time of proposal

   submission.

 

• DoD 8570.01-M Certification: N/A Exception: If the employee ever requires any  

   privileged system access, then DOD 8570.01-M, IA & CE certifications are

   required.

o IA Technical (IAT)/IA Management (IAM) Level: IAT Level II

o IA Baseline Certification: Attachment_3_DOD 8570 Approved Baseline

o CE/OS Certificate: Attachment_4_DLA Approved CS CE   

   List_v28_20230221. Certification must be applicable to the Oracle based

   DAI Application Environment

 

Salary range:

$68,500 – $95,000 annually (depending on experience and qualifications)
