Viderity is seeking a Senior Network Administrator responsible for overseeing, designing, maintaining, and optimizing the company’s computer network, including servers, hardware, and software. This senior-level role involves advanced network performance monitoring, resolving complex technical issues, leading security initiatives, managing user access, and ensuring maximum network stability and functionality. The Senior Network Administrator will collaborate with technical teams, mentor junior staff, and work with vendors to maintain a highly secure and efficient network environment.

Key Responsibilities
Continuously monitor and analyze network performance, proactively identify potential issues, and lead troubleshooting efforts for complex network problems.
Design, implement, and maintain advanced network security measures, oversee user access levels, and respond to sophisticated security threats.
Lead the installation and configuration of new network hardware and software, including servers, routers, switches, and firewalls.
Oversee the application of software updates and patches to ensure network stability, security, and compliance with industry standards.
Manage and optimize user account creation, modification, and permissions across the network.
Develop and maintain robust data backup and disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity during system failures.
Analyze network traffic, identify bottlenecks, and implement strategic improvements to optimize network performance.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of network architecture, configurations, topology, and troubleshooting procedures.
Manage relationships with network hardware and software vendors, resolve advanced technical issues, and negotiate contracts.
Required Skills:
5-8 years of experience in a network administration or related position
Expert-level technical skills with deep proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP), routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), network security concepts, and operating systems (Windows Server, Linux)
Advanced troubleshooting skills with proven ability to diagnose and resolve highly complex network issues
Exceptional problem-solving skills to identify root causes of network challenges and implement innovative, long-term solutions
Outstanding communication skills to convey complex technical information to both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders
Meticulous attention to detail to ensure precision in network design, configuration, and documentation
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Extensive experience with network hardware/software installation and configuration (e.g., servers, routers, switches, firewalls)
Proven track record of maintaining detailed, high-quality documentation of network configurations and procedures
Preferred Skills:
Extensive experience working in an onsite environment requiring security clearance
Advanced certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
Strong background in vendor management, contract negotiation, and strategic procurement
Expertise in backup and disaster recovery planning and execution
Proficiency with network performance optimization tools, techniques, and predictive analytics
Hands-on leadership experience with network monitoring tools, security management systems, and mentoring junior team members
Salary Range: $110,000 - $150,000
