Viderity is seeking a Senior Application Developer to design, develop, and implement software applications, often with a focus on leading and mentoring teams.
Job description
This is a 100% remote role for candidates based in the Washington D.C. Metro Area (D.C., Maryland, Virginia). Candidates can be located within a 2-hour commute from Alexandria, Virginia.

Viderity is seeking a Senior Application Developer to design, develop, and implement software applications, often with a focus on leading and mentoring teams. They are responsible for translating user needs into functional and technical designs, writing code, testing applications, and ensuring they meet quality standards. Will also be responsible for identifying and implementing new technologies and methodologies to improve the development process.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop software based on requirements developed by Business Analysts to meet the needed business solution at enterprise, large-scale level. All work is within the application development framework used by the organization.
Work in collaboration with a Business Analyst to meet the requirement of fulfilling the client’s goals to implements the business solution.
Proficiently execute the work using the tools and techniques implemented for the project.
Work directly with Systems Architect to develop and implement new third-party applications, tools, and programming libraries to meet the business development goals of the client.
Utilizes web-based software such as Java, HTML, .NET, AngularJS, Javascript, SOAP, REST API, mobile development, and Web Based API in the building of software applications.
Job requirements
Required Skills:
Five (5) years’ relevant experience developing software.
BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
Experience with application programming interfaces (APIs) to support Low-Code/No-Code Development Platform models.
Experience using low-code/no-code business process modeling notation (BPMN) tools.
Developing application/process automation software based on BPMN models, experience using software tools such as Appian, Salesforce, Nintex, etc. with Microsoft SQL Server databases and Microsoft .NET development environment. • Experience in agile and hybrid low-code application development.
Required Security Clearance:
Access Level: IT-2 o Sensitivity Level: Non-critical Sensitive
Type of Investigation: Current Tier 3 (T3) or National Agency Check with
Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC) at time of proposal
submission.
• DoD 8570.01-M Certification: DFARS 252.239-7001 Information Assurance Contractor Training and Certification is required for this position.
IA Technical (IAT)/IA Management (IAM) Level: IAT Level II IA Baseline Certification: Attachment_3_DOD 8570 Approved Baseline

Salary range:
$109,000 - $122,030 annually (depending on experience and qualifications)
