Viderity is seeking an EDI/XML Subject Matter Expert responsible for providing support, analysis and research into complex problems, and processes relating to the subject matter.
Job description
This is a 100% remote role for candidates based in the Washington D.C. Metro Area (D.C., Maryland, Virginia). Candidates can be located within a 2-hour commute from Alexandria, Virginia.

Viderity is seeking an IntermediateEDI/XML Subject Matter Expert responsible for providing support, analysis and research into complex problems, and processes relating to the subject matter. Serves as technical expert on executive-level project teams providing technical direction, interpretation, and alternatives. Applies extensive technical expertise and full knowledge of other related disciplines. Develops technical solutions to complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.
Key Responsibilities:
With minimal direction, provides support, analysis and research into exceptionally complex problems, and processes relating to the subject matter.
Serves as technical expert on executive-level project teams providing technical direction, interpretation, and alternatives.
Applies extensive technical expertise and full knowledge of other related disciplines.
Guides the successful completion of major programs and may function in a project leadership role.
Develops technical solutions to complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.
Expertise in a particular area of Information Technology (e.g., Information Systems Architecture, Telecommunications Systems Design,
Architecture, Implementation, Information Systems Integration, Software Development Methodologies, Security Engineering, Communications and Network Systems Management), or a specific functional area (e.g., finance, logistics, procurement, transportation, and operations research).
Job requirements
Required Skills:
5 years of experience in a relevant field, specifically EDI/XML electronic data exchange experience (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology).
Information Systems/Technology), and a specific logistics function (e.g., finance, supply, contract administration, transportation, operations research).
Expert experience in a particular area of Information Technology (e.g., Information Systems Architecture, Telecommunications Systems Design, Architecture, Implementation, Information Systems Integration, Software Development Methodologies, Security Engineering, Communications and Network Systems Management), or a specific functional area (e.g., finance, logistics, procurement, transportation, and operations research).
Must have experience in DoD logistics functions (e.g., finance, supply, contract administration, transportation, project management).
Must have experience using MS Project.
Thinks independently and demonstrates exceptional written and oral communications skills
Required Security Clearance:
o Access Level: IT-2 o Sensitivity Level: Non-critical Sensitive
o Type of Investigation: Current Tier 3 (T3) or National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC) at time of proposal
submission.
DOD 8570.01-M Certification: N/A
o Relevant certification from a nationally recognized authority
Salary range:
$85,000 and $125,000 annually (depending on experience and qualifications
